A DAY IN THE LIFE OF NAZARETH HERMITAGE
September 2011
How wonderful it is to be one of the servants of the Lord. Treating these folks is not a chore but a joy and a real blessing
This Ibrima my invaluable assistant about to check someone's blood pressure
Wound has been treated and this lad is a happy customer.
More and more and more......
One young lad (with white shirt) was having a laceration treated
This day the folks just kept coming. I didn't know when it would stop. God love all of these wonderful people
More patients waiting on this same day. The medical 'bantaba' is round and the benches were all full
More of our patients on this morning. This was a very busy day. I wanted to take some pictures and before I did, I asked permission of each person (or their parent). All were willing and you can see were happy to be 'snapped'
People waiting to come in to the medical room
More patients waiting. The bent over young man in the center has malaria. We treated him, because of your donations, and he is fine now. He thanks you all
Patients are building up this morning. The older child lying in his mothers
had malaria and we rushed him to the private clinic for treatment. The clinic kept him as in patient for 3 days and now the lad is like new
The owner of the 'car'.
A better picture of the toy car
Early morning patients. The toy on the ground is a car made from an oil bottle, tiretread, and sticks.
